These terms govern your use of NetCheck Tools (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Description of the Service
NetCheck Tools provides free, server-side network diagnostic tools — currently DNS Lookup, SSL Checker and Port Checker — that let you check publicly reachable domains, IP addresses and ports. The Service is provided free of charge and does not currently require an account.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only to check domains, servers and IP addresses that you own, operate, or are otherwise authorized to test. You agree not to use the Service to:
- Test, probe or scan hosts you do not own or have explicit permission to assess;
- Attempt mass or automated scanning of multiple hosts, IP ranges or port ranges — the tools are intentionally limited to one host and one port per request, and this limitation must not be circumvented;
- Attempt to bypass, disable or overwhelm our rate limiting, security controls or infrastructure;
- Use the Service to facilitate illegal activity, harassment, network attacks, or unauthorized access to any system; or
- Reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or resell access to the Service without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to block, rate-limit or restrict access for any use that we reasonably believe violates these terms.
No warranty — service provided "as is"
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Diagnostic results reflect a snapshot of live network conditions at the moment of the check and may change at any time for reasons outside our control (DNS propagation, network changes, certificate renewals, firewall configuration, and similar).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NetCheck Tools and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including decisions made based on the results it returns.
Availability and changes
As a free service, NetCheck Tools is offered without guarantee of continuous availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including specific tools or rate limits, at any time and without prior notice.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, the design, branding and content of NetCheck Tools are the property of its operators. You may link to our pages freely; you may not republish or redistribute substantial parts of the site's content or branding as your own without permission.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
