Every tool runs server-side using Node.js built-ins — no paid third-party APIs, no scraping of other diagnostic sites. Results reflect exactly what the public internet sees at the moment you run the check.
Our principles
- Free, no account required. Every tool is usable immediately, with no sign-up and no paywall.
- Security-first backend. Inputs are strictly validated, private and internal IP ranges are blocked from being probed, and every check runs with strict timeouts — see our Privacy Policy for details on how requests are handled.
- No unnecessary data collection. We don't build profiles of the domains or IPs you check, and we don't sell data.
- Straightforward results. Every tool shows clear status, plain-language explanations and a way to copy the result for a support ticket or a colleague.
What's next
NetCheck Tools started with DNS, SSL and port diagnostics because they're the checks developers reach for most often when something is broken. We plan to keep adding focused, free diagnostic tools over time, in the same spirit: fast, accurate and free of clutter.
